TEXT ORDER entered by Chief Judge Sara Darrow on 10/16/2024. Plaintiff filed a response to the Court's September 23, 2024, text order indicating that he did not intend to file a civil case. This case is accordingly dismissed without prejudice. No filing fee shall be assessed. All pending motions are denied as moot. Plaintiff is advised that if he continues to file these types of requests with the Court, he may face sanctions, including, but not limited to, an order directing the Clerk to return all papers unfiled. TEXT ORDER entered by Chief Judge Sara Darrow on 9/23/2024. Plaintiff filed a document entitled "Application for Order for a Pen Register," requesting a court order for insertion of a subcutaneous listening device to record conversations of officials at his current place of confinement. The Court previously advised Plaintiff that if he believes a crime has been or is being committed, he should contact the appropriate law enforcement agency. See Cisco v. Doe, No. 23-2021 (C.D. Ill.). Within 14 days of this Order, Plaintiff shall inform the Court whether he intended to file a civil cause of action against any official. Failure to respond will result in dismissal of this case without prejudice. (ANW)
