TEXT ORDER: Plaintiff filed a #2 motion for leave to proceed in forma pauperis ("IFP") pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1915(a)(1). The #2 IFP motion was submitted under penalty of perjury and demonstrates that Plaintiff should be excused from prepaying fees or costs in this case, so the #2 IFP motion is GRANTED. The Court further notes that pursuant to the Civil Local Rules, effective March 4, 2025, "The Court rescinded Civil Local Rule 8.1 effective December 1, 2022." As such, the Court sua sponte grants leave to amend, and Plaintiff is advised to correct this discrepancy in their #1 Complaint (specifically, paragraph nine and Exhibit B).
