|
TEXT ORDER entered by Chief Judge Sara Darrow on January 5, 2026. When opening this case, Attorney Maria De Las Nieves Bolanos classified it as seeking to bar or mandate statewide or nationwide enforcement of a state or federal law and, accordingly, it was put into a district-wide assignment pool per Civil Local Rule 40.1(E)(4)(b). But this case does not seek such relief, so it is not subject to district-wide assignment. The case must be assigned to a judge in the appropriate division. See id. at 40.1(E)(4)(a). As the complaint arises out of events in Decatur, Illinois, which is in Macon County, Urbana is the appropriate division. See Civil LR 40.1(D). The Clerk is directed to reassign the case accordingly. (LN)
