TEXT ORDER entered by Judge Colin S. Bruce on February 12, 2026. On January 21, 2026, Magistrate Judge Eric I. Long entered a text order noting that Plaintiff's Motion for Leave to Proceed In Forma Pauperis #2 was unsigned. Accordingly, Judge Long denied the application with leave to refile, directing Plaintiff to sign and fill out the form in its entirety. Judge Long warned Plaintiff that failure to either refile the application or pay the applicable filing fee within 21 days would result in dismissal of this case without prejudice. Judge Long also directed the Clerk to provide Plaintiff copies of both the Long Form Application to Proceed in District Court Without Prepaying Fees or Costs and Motion to Request Counsel. Twenty-one days have now elapsed since Judge Long's text order, and Plaintiff has failed to either refile the application or pay the applicable filing fee. Therefore, pursuant to the text order of January 21, Plaintiff's Amended Complaint #6 is DISMISSED without prejudice. The clerk is directed to MOOT all pending motions #3 , #10 , #12 . ORDER Entered by Magistrate Judge Eric I. Long on 1/7/26. Plaintiff has submitted a complaint and seeks leave to proceed without prepaying fees or costs. To be considered, Plaintiff must supply the Court with completed summons and U.S. Marshals Service forms (USM-285). Plaintiff submitted the summons forms, but has not yet submitted the USM-285 forms. Plaintiff must fill out a USM-285 form for each defendant being sued. Failure of Plaintiff to complete and return the forms within twenty-one (21) days will result in summary dismissal of the complaint, without prejudice. The Clerk is directed to provide Plaintiff with copies of the forms. Additionally, Plaintiff failed to sign his Complaint. Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 11 states that "[e]very pleading, written motion, and other paper must be signed... by a party personally if the party is unrepresented." Fed. R. Civ. P. 11(a). The Clerk is directed to STRIKE Plaintiff's Complaint (#1) To proceed with this action, Plaintiff must file a signed Complaint within 21 days of this Order. Plaintiff should sign the Complaint in the form s/name in accordance with Local Rule 5.4(B)(1)(e) if submitting by email. If Plaintiff fails to do so, this action will be dismissed without prejudice.(ED)
