OPINION: Plaintiff's motion for the appointment of counsel is denied 60 . Plaintiff's motion to strike Defendants' motion for summary judgment is denied 51 . Defendant's motion for summary judgment is granted in part and den ied in part 48 . The jury selection and trial are scheduled for July 11-14, 2017, beginning at 9:00 a.m. each day. The final pretrial conference is scheduled for June 12, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. The parties may request a settlement conference with the Magistrate Judge if they believe another try at settlement could be productive. The clerk is directed to issue a personal writ to secure Plaintiff's presence at the jury selection and trial.
