Text Order: Plaintiff has filed a letter stating that his mother and sister intend to pay Plaintiffs filing fee in this case. (d/e #3 .) Plaintiff asks what his family should do to pay the filing fee. The filing fee is $400 and may be paid by mailing to the Clerk a money order or cashiers check made out to Clerk of the U.S. District Court, Central District of Illinois. The money order or cashier's check should state the name and number of the case (Vera-Ortegon v. Rettenmier, 18-cv-3321) and be accompanied by a letter stating that the money is to applied to pay the filing fee in the case. Personal checks are not accepted. The $400 filing fee is due February 18, 2019. If the filing fee has not been paid by February 18, 2019, and Plaintiff has not filed a petition to proceed in forma pauperis, then this case will be dismissed without prejudice.
