TEXT ORDER by U.S. Magistrate Judge Tom Schanzle-Haskins. The Joint Motion for Temporary Stay and Incorporated Memorandum of Law #32 is ALLOWED. This matter is STAYED until 1/1/2021 to give the parties time to pursue settlement. The obligation to conduct the Rule 26(f) scheduling meeting and to submit a proposed discovery plan are therefore stayed, and the scheduling conference set for 10/2/2020 is CANCELLED to be reset after the stay is lifted. NOTICE OF HEARING: Telephonic Rule 16 Scheduling Conference set Friday, 10/2/2020, at 10:30 AM (court will place call) before U.S. Magistrate Judge Tom Schanzle-Haskins. Attorneys are directed to comply with Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 26(f) by meeting as soon as practicable, and in any event at least fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduling conference, and are to submit a proposed discovery plan in writing to the Court on or before 9/30/2020. Such a plan must include, at a minimum, those items listed in CDIL-LR 26.2(3), Rule 16(b), Rule 26(f), and CDIL-LR 16.2(F) with proposed deadlines. The parties are directed to specifically address the provisions, if any, for discovery or disclosure of electronically stored information, and to discuss agreements, if any, the parties reach for asserting claims of privilege or of protection as trial preparation material, after inadvertent production. Any plan filed shall specifically address the need, or lack thereof, concerning discovery of electronically stored information. If a discovery plan is not submitted as required, the scheduling hearing will not be held and costs may be assessed. Lead counsel or other counsel of record with knowledge of the case should be available to participate in the Rule 16 scheduling hearing. (LB, ilcd) |

Plaintiff David Bennett's case be severed and transferred to the Springfield Division of the Central Division of Illinois (Civil case 3:20-cv-2637 opened); c. Plaintiff Scott Chaffee's case be severed and transferred to the Buffalo Division of the Western District of New York (Civil case 3:20-cv-2638 opened); d. Plaintiff Jonathan Moffett's case be severed and transferred to the Southern Division of the Central District of California (Civil case 3:20-cv-2639 opened); e. Plaintiff John Morris's case be severed and transferred to the Akron Division of the Norther District of Ohio (Civil case 3:20-cv-2640 opened); f. Plaintiff Shirley Mustion's case be severed and transferred to the Western Division of the Western District of Missouri (Civil case 3:20-cv-2641 opened); g. Plaintiff Gail Penn's case be severed and transferred to the Peoria Division of the Central District of Illinois (Civil case 3:20-cv-2642 opened); and h. Plaintiff Mary Stafford's case be severed and transferred to the Jacksonville Division of the Middle District of Florida (Civil case 3:20-cv-2643 opened).
