November 1, 2021 Opinion or Order TEXT ORDER entered by U.S. Magistrate Judge Tom Schanzle-Haskins. Plaintiffs Motion for Leave to File Pro Se Civil Rights Complaint Amended #4 (Motion) is ALLOWED. Plaintiff may amend his complaint one time without leave of Court at this stage of the case. Fed. R. Civ. P. 15(a)(1). The proposed Amended Complaint attached to the Motion, however, only contained new claims against new defendants and did not include the original claims against the original defendants. The Court orders Plaintiff to file by 11/15/2021 a new, signed Amended Complaint that includes all of the Plaintiff's claims against all Defendants in a single document. The Clerk shall then issue summons to Plaintiff for each Defendant. Plaintiff is then required to serve each Defendant with the appropriate summons and copy of the new Amended Complaint in accordance with Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 4. The Court notes that civil litigants have no constitutional or statutory right to be represented by counsel in federal court. Zarnes v. Rhodes, 64 F.3d 285, 288 (7th Cir., 1995). The decision to appoint counsel lies within the broad discretion of the Court. Jackson v. County of McLean, 953 F.2d 1070, 1071 (7th Cir., 1992). The Plaintiff has not shown any attempt to retain counsel. The Court grants pro se litigants wide latitude in the handling of their lawsuits.
