TEXT ORDER entered by Judge Colleen R. Lawless on 3/29/2023: Pro se Plaintiff David Curtis Jefferson seeks to file an action under Title 42, U.S. Code Section 1983. Plaintiff has filed a Motion for Leave to Proceed In Forma Pauperis #2 . A review of Plaintiff's proposed Complaint #1 shows that each Defendant resides in the Northern District of Illinois. Additionally, all of the events or omissions giving rise to the asserted claim occurred in the Northern District of Illinois. Because this action has no connection to the Central District of Illinois, venue is improper under Title 28, U.S. Code Section 1391(b). Therefore, pursuant to Title 28, U.S. Code Section 1404(a), this case is transferred to the Northern District of Illinois for further proceedings. (JPS)
