The Motion is GRANTED in part and DENIED in part. Plaintiffs have until September 1, 2026, to respond to Defendants' Motion to Dismiss. Plaintiffs are reminded that motions for extension of time "must state whether opposing counsel has an objection to the motion." CDIL-LR 6.1. Future motions that do not state whether the opposing Party has an objection will be denied. Leave to File a Second Amended Complaint is denied without prejudice. Motions asking for different forms of relief, in this case a continuance and a motion to amend, must be filed as separate motions.
