TEXT ORDER entered by Magistrate Judge Douglas J Quivey on 4/28/2026. Before the Court is Plaintiff Shaffer's Application to Proceed in District Court Without Prepaying Fees or Costs, (Doc. #4 ), and Plaintiff Mason's Application to Proceed in District Court Without Prepaying Fees or Costs. (Doc. #5 ). Both Applications state that each Plaintiff has $150.00 in cash or an account, no expenses, and nothing of value. The Court finds it unlikely that both Plaintiffs have exactly the same financial situation. Additionally, Plaintiff Mason did not sign his Application. The Applications are DENIED with leave to refile no later than May 15, 2026. The Plaintiffs are reminded that by signing and filing Applications they are doing so under the penalty of perjury. (JJK)
