TEXT ORDER entered by Magistrate Judge Douglas J. Quivey on 04/28/2026: It appears that the Complaint in this case was filed in error as an identical case is pending in the Northern District of Illinois. 25-15250. Plaintiff is given twenty-one (21) days to confirm that the Complaint was intended to be filed in the Central District of Illinois by filing a status report. If Plaintiff does not file a report within twenty-one days, Plaintiff runs the risk that the case will be dismissed within the Central district with prejudice for failure to prosecute. (DW)

| Remark: Complaint #1 was brought to the Clerk's Office on Thursday, March 12th by a process server. The process server stated that he had tried to file the documents with the Illinois Supreme Court and they directed him to come to our office. The process server was specifically asked if he needed to file the documents and he stated yes. I have verified that this case was filed in the Northern District of Illinois (case no. 25-15250) and it appears that the process server may have been trying to serve the Illinois Supreme Court, not actually file the documents.
