Date Filed Document Text
October 10, 2019 Filing 10 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF SERVICE Executed as to #6 Summons Issued: US Attorney - Peoria, IL., Office of Regional Counsel, US Attorney General- Washington DC, filed by Peter Todd Redcrow. (RL, ilcd)
October 3, 2019 Opinion or Order TEXT ORDER: The Plaintiff has submitted personal emails #8 , a copy of the Court's 9/26/2019 Text Order #9 , and a document provided to him by the Clerk's Office #9 . The Plaintiff is advised that he must not send such things to the Court. He may send motions asking for a specific action, or he may file a response to a Court order or a motion filed by the Defendant. This prevents confusion over the purpose of any filing. Entered by Magistrate Judge Jonathan E. Hawley on 10/3/2019. (KZ, ilcd)
October 1, 2019 Filing 9 Letter from Plaintiff Redcrow (ED, ilcd)
September 26, 2019 Opinion or Order TEXT ORDER: The Court has reviewed the Plaintiff's 9/14/2019 letter he sent to the U.S. Marshal. It appears the Plaintiff still believes the U.S. Marshal is responsible for serving the Defendant in this case. That is incorrect. As the Court previously explained in its 9/13/2019 Text Order, the Court has NOT directed the U.S. Marshal to serve summons in this case and it is the Plaintiff's responsibility to serve summonses in accordance with Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 4. The Plaintiff's failure to do so may result in dismissal of this case for failure to timely serve the Defendant. Entered by Magistrate Judge Jonathan E. Hawley on 9/26/2019. (KZ, ilcd)
September 25, 2019 Filing 8 Letter from Plaintiff Redcrow (ED, ilcd)
September 18, 2019 Filing 7 Letter from Peter Redcrow. (RL, ilcd)
September 16, 2019 Filing 6 Summons re-issued as to Andrew Marshall Saul, U.S. Attorney and U.S. Attorney General. (RL, ilcd)
September 13, 2019 Opinion or Order TEXT ORDER STRIKING/VACATING DOCUMENTS entered by Magistrate Judge Jonathan E. Hawley on 9/13/2019. The Clerk is directed to STRIKE the Summonses #4 that were issued and returned to the Plaintiff to effect service as the Plaintiff improperly completed the Proof of Service pages attached to the three summons. The Court has NOT directed the U.S. Marshal to serve summons in this case. The Clerk is therefore additionally directed to STRIKE the Plaintiff's Certificate of Service #5 . The Clerk is also directed to re-issue the three summons (keeping the Proof of Service pages blank) and return them to the Plaintiff to effectuate service. It is the Plaintiff's responsibility to serve those summonses in accordance with Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 4. (RL, ilcd)
