TEXT ORDER entered by Judge Michael M. Mihm on 9/16/2020. Plaintiff, a former prisoner, files #1 and #3 , a 1983 complaint and petition to proceed in forma pauperis ("IFP"). Plaintiff, as a non-prisoner, may proceed IFP upon a showing of indigency. Plaintiff has not, however, provided an affidavit attesting as to his indigency. The Clerk is directed to send Plaintiff a copy of the Long Form Application To Proceed In District Court Without Prepaying Fees Or Costs, AO 239. #3 is DENIED with leave to reassert within 21 days, or on or before 10/4/2020. Plaintiff files #4 , a motion for recruitment of pro bono counsel but does not indicate that he attempted to secure counsel on his own. Pruitt v. Mote, 503 F.3d 647, 654-55 (7th Cir. 2007). #4 is DENIED. In the event that Plaintiff renews his motion for appointment of counsel, he is to provide copies of the letters sent to, and received from, prospective counsel.(SAG, ilcd)
