TEXT ORDER: The Court has reviewed the Plaintiff's Complaint #1 in which she asserts minimal diversity under CAFA. However, the Plaintiff alleges that she is a natural person "residing" in Baltimore, Maryland. The citizenship of an individual is based upon domicile, not on residence. America's Best Inns, Inc. v. Best Inns of Abilene, L.P., 980 F.2d 1072, 1074 (7th Cir. 1992). The Plaintiff's allegation is therefore insufficient to determine whether minimal diversity exists under 28 U.S.C. 1332(d)(2)(A). The Plaintiff is directed to file an amended complaint within 14 days of this date that adequately alleges the factual basis for this Court's jurisdiction. Entered by Magistrate Judge Jonathan E.
