The parties are directed to review and to comply with Judge Denlows Standing Order Setting Settlement Conference. Copies are available in chambers or through Judge Denlows web page at www.ilnd.uscourts.gov. Judge Denlow requires full compliance with this standing order before conducting a settlement conference. October 13, 2010 Filing 94 MINUTE entry before Honorable Jeffrey T. Gilbert: The parties agree, as they reported during the status hearing held on 10/7/10, that a settlement conference in this case may be fruitful if decision makers are present in person with counsel. Further, defendant requested that a neutral Magistrate Judge preside over the settlement conference and that all discovery be stayed pending settlement discussions so that the parties can devote themselves to settlement efforts and conserve resources they otherwise would spend on discovery. Plaintiff agreed to put off additional depositions that are contemplated by the parties pending the settlement discussions. Accordingly, the parties are directed to contact Magistrate Judge Denlow's courtroom deputy, Linda Garth, at 312-435-5875, to arrange a settlement conference with Judge Denlow as soon as practicable. All discovery is stayed pending a good faith attempt to settle this case except for any discovery the parties agree would be helpful to their evaluation of settlement. If the parties disagree regarding pending discovery that one party asserts would be helpful to its evaluation of the possibility of settlement, then the proponent of such discovery may file a motion with this Court seeking relief before the settlement conference. This Court will set this matter for a further status hearing after the settlement conference to be scheduled with Judge Denlow. Mailed notice (ep, )

Both parties shall submit supplemental briefs on the Railway Labor Act issues discussed in open court by 8/13/10. Defendant's motion for a protective order #75 is denied. The Court finds that there is nothing inconsistent with the depositions moving forward as noticed and its consideration of and ruling upon Defendant's motion to compel #66 .
