Kennelly on 10/4/2011: For the reasons stated below, the Court grants plaintiff's motion to proceed in forma pauperis [# 4 ] and gives him leave to file his proposed amended complaint but dism isses all claims in that complaint other than Counts 5 and 12 and all of the named defendants other than Ronald Huberman and the Chicago Board of Education. The Clerk is directed to issue summons to those two defendants, and the U.S. Marshal is appoi nted to serve them with summons. Plaintiff is directed to cooperate with the Marshal as requested to facilitate service of summons. The case is set for a status hearing on December 5, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. in Judge Kennelly's courtroom (Room 2188). If plaintiff fails to appear, the Court may dismiss the case for want of prosecution.
