Software Restore Solutions, LLC v. Apple Inc.
Plaintiff Software Restore Solutions, LLC alleged that Defendant Apple Inc. infringed U.S. Patent No. 5,832,511 entitled "Workgroup Network Manager for Controlling the Operation of Workstations Within the Computer Network." Plaintiff alleged that the Disk Utility feature in Mac OS X enables automated repair functionality for automatically resetting a software application to a preferred configuration during use based on an automated comparison of prior and current configuration status.
