A Final Pretrial Order and Jury Instructions are due on or before November 30, 2018. This case has languished since it was removed from the Sixth Municipal District of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois in December 2016. Discovery closed on April 15, 2018, and in the intervening months the parties conducted a futile settlement conference with the designated magistrate judge. Accordingly, the case is set for trial. Moreover, Defendant's Motion For Leave to File Affirmative Defenses #31 is stricken for failure to comply with Local Rule 5.3(b). Cf. Bunn v. Khoury Enterprises.
