For the reasons stated in the Opinion, the District's motion 34 for summary judgment is granted against the Title VII sex discrimination claim. But Plaintiff's retaliat ion claims under Title VII, the Illinois Whistleblower Act, and the Cook County Ordinance survive. After the lawyers confer with their respective clients, settlement negotiations must commence in earnest. To that end, by 10/09/2019, Plaintiff shall s erve a demand on the defense. The defense shall respond by 10/18/2019. The defense shall email the demand and the offer to the Court's Proposed Order email account on 10/18/2019. The status hearing of 10/16/2019 is reset to 10/23/2019, at 11 a.m. The parties may call the courtroom deputy for a settlement referral in advance of the status hearing. Emailed notice(slb, )
