TEXT ORDER entered by Judge Sara Darrow on January 5, 2017. Petitioner #30 seeks leave to appeal in forma pauperis this Court's #26 judgment. His motion includes an affidavit describing his assets. See 28 U.S.C. 1915(a)(1). However, a prisoner seeking to appeal a judgment in a civil action or proceeding without prepayment of fees must also file a certified copy of his trust fund account statement, or its institutional equivalent, for the 6-month period preceding the notice of appeal. Pope has not done so, and his #30 motion is DENIED. If he seeks leave again, he should also take note of Federal Rule of Appellate Procedure 24(a)(1), which provides that a movant for appeal in forma pauperis must also state his claims for entitlement to redress and state the issues he intends to present on appeal.
