Filing 5 ORDER: By order dated August 23, 2018, the Court dismissed Plaintiff's complaint because, as drafted, it failed to state a claim on which relief could be granted but allowed Plaintiff leave to amend his pleading if he believed he could state a valid federal claim #4 . At that time, the Court warned Plaintiff that failure to submit an amended complaint by September 13, 2018, would result in dismissal of this case. [Id.] As of today's date, Plaintiff has neither complied nor otherwise communicated with the Court concerning this matter. The Court sua sponte grants Plaintiff one last chance to submit an amended complaint by October 17, 2018. If Plaintiff fails to do so, the Court shall dismiss this case. Signed by the Honorable John Z. Lee on 9/26/2018. Mailed notice. (kp, ) |

Filing 4 ORDER: Plaintiff's application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis #3 is granted. The Court orders the trust fund officer at Plaintiff's place of incarceration to deduct $11.14 from Plaintiff's account for payment to the Clerk of Court as an initial partial payment of the filing fee and to continue making monthly deductions in accordance with this order. The Court directs the Clerk of Court to send a copy of this order to the trust fund officer at the Will County Adult Detention Facility, and the trust fund officer is directed to make deductions from Plaintiff's account consistent with this order. Summonses, however, shall not issue. Plaintiff's complaint #1 is dismissed without prejudice. If Plaintiff wants to proceed with this lawsuit, he must submit an amended complaint that fully complies with this order. Failure to submit an amended complaint by September 13, 2018, will result in summary dismissal of this lawsuit. The Clerk of Court is directed to send Plaintiff an amended complaint form, a blank USM-285 form, and instructions along with a copy of this order. Signed by the Honorable John Z. Lee on 8/23/2018.
