ORDER: On August 23, 2018, the Court ordered Plaintiff to, by September 24, 2018, to either submit a properly completed and certified application to proceed in forma pauperis or pay the statutory filing fee #3 . Plaintiff has failed to respond. The Court has not heard from Plaintiff since entry of the August 23, 2018, order, or, in fact, since he filed suit. The Court warned Plaintiff that if he failed to respond as ordered, this case would be dismissed. Accordingly, this case is dismissed with prejudice. See N.D. Ill. Local Rule 3.3(e); Election Comm'n v. Al Salvi for Senate Comm., 205 F.3d 1015, 1018 (7th Cir. 2000) (a court has authority, both inherently and under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(b), to dismiss a case as a sanction for failure to prosecute and noncompliance with a court order).
