The complaint premises subject matter jurisdiction under the diversity statute, 28 U.S.C. 1332(a), but it does not properly allege the citizenship of Plaintiff, which is an LLC. The citizenship of an LLC is the citizenship of its members, not of its manager. See Thomas v. Guardsmark, LLC, 487 F.3d 531, 534 (7th Cir. 2007). Plaintiff may discharge this order to show cause by filing a Jurisdictional Addendum that properly alleges its citizenship. Failure to do so by 10/4/2018 will result in the dismissal of this suit.
