Filing 11 ORDER: Plaintiff filed a complaint #1 , which the Court dismissed for failure to state a claim #9 . Plaintiff has now filed an amended complaint #10 . Having conducted an initial review of Plaintiffs amended complaint, the Court concludes that it may proceed against Thresholds Housing, Inc. only. Marcus Walker, Ajibola Obajimi, Tim Devitt, and the Board of Directors are dismissed as Defendants. Summons, however, shall not issue at this time. Plaintiffs motion for attorney representation #6 is granted. Norman Hanfling, Norman Hanfling & Associates, 208 S. LaSalle St., Suite 1400, Chicago, IL 60604, is recruited to represent Plaintiff in accordance with counsels trial bar obligations under the District Courts Local Rules 83.11(h) and 83.37. By March 13, 2019, counsel shall file a brief status report indicating whether he intends to proceed with the complaint or file an amended complaint. If counsel believes that proceeding on the complaint or filing an amended complaint would be inconsistent with his Rule 11 obligations, he should so inform the Court. The Clerk is directed to send a copy of this order to Plaintiff and to Attorney Hanfling. Counsel is encouraged to visit the Courts Pro Bono web page at http://www.ilnd.uscourts.gov/Pages.aspx?page=ProBono (case-sensitive) for various resources related to pro bono representation.The recruited attorney falls within the class of users listed in the Electronic Public Access fee schedule adopted by the Judicial Conference of the United States, therefore, the above-named attorney shall be exempt from the payment of fees for access via PACER to the electronic case files maintained in this court for the above-captioned case. The recruited attorney is directed to open a separate PACER account to only be used for the above-captioned case, and fees are exempt for the above-captioned case only. The assigned attorney shall not be exempt from the payment of fees incurred in connection with other uses of the PACER system in this court. This exemption is valid immediately and for the duration of the attorney's participation in the matter. This exemption may be revoked at the discretion of the Court at any time. The attorney shall contact the PACER Service Center at 1-800-676 6856 or via the link below to create the new PACER account and to make any necessary arrangements for the waiver. A copy of this order shall be sent to the PACER Service Center at http://www.pacer.psc.uscourts.gov/register.html. Filing 9 ORDER: Plaintiff's application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis #5 demonstrates that she cannot prepay the filing fee, and the application is granted. Summons, however, shall not issue at this time, because the Court dismisses Plaintiffs complaint #1 for failure to state a claim. Plaintiff is granted until January 31, 2019, to submit an amended complaint that states a federal claim. Failure to submit an amended complaint by that date will result in summary dismissal of this lawsuit. Ruling on Plaintiffs motion for attorney representation #6 is deferred.
