MAILED a copy of order #7 dated 7/9/2019 to the trust fund officer at Plaintiff's current place of incarceration. (ph, ) |
Filing 7 ORDER: Plaintiff's application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis #3 is granted. The Court orders the trust fund officer at Plaintiff's place of incarceration to deduct $31.42 from Plaintiff's account for payment to the Clerk of Court as an initial partial payment of the filing fee and to continue making monthly deductions in accordance with this order. The Court directs the Clerk of Court to send a copy of this order to the trust fund officer at Plaintiff's current place of incarceration. Summonses, however, shall not issue. On the face of Plaintiff's complaint #1 , his claim(s) appear to be untimely. Plaintiff therefore shall, by August 23, 2019, show cause (explain) in writing why this case should not be dismissed pursuant to the statute of limitations as filed after the two-year statute of limitations period passed. Failure to do so by that date will result in dismissal of this case with prejudice as untimely. Ruling on all other motions #4 is deferred until Plaintiff responds. Signed by the Honorable Sharon Johnson Coleman on 7/9/2019. Mailed notice (ph, ) |

Filing 5 ORDER: The Clerk of Court is directed to transfer this case to the docket of the Honorable Sharon Johnson Coleman pursuant to Local Rule 40.3(b)(2) (N.D. Ill.).
