Filing 95 MINUTE entry before the Honorable Jeffrey Cummings: The Court has reviewed the parties' joint status report on discovery #91 , plaintiff's motion for an extension of time #92 , and defendant's response #94 . Plaintiff's motion for an extension of the fact discovery deadline #91 is granted in part. Fact discovery is extended to 7/16/21 for the purpose of completing the remaining depositions and for any reasonable follow up related to those depositions or to Ford's recent document production. The parties dispute whether the 8/23/16 discovery order entered in Van v. Ford, 14-cv-8708 applies to limit plaintiff's ability to depose Anita O'Connor, Art Cruz, and Bonnie Wojewoda. Although the discovery order does apply to plaintiff's claim because she was a party to that case at the time the order was entered, paragraph 4 of the order recognized that the Court reserved the discretion to vary the deposition limitations contained therein. Accordingly, plaintiff will be allowed to depose each of the three witnesses for an additional 4.5 hours with the understanding that plaintiff shall not duplicate the questions that the witnesses were asked during their depositions in the Van case. The parties' proposed expert discovery schedule is adopted in part as follows. Affirmative expert reports are due by 8/16/21; affirmative experts to be deposed by 9/16/21. Rebuttal expert reports are due by 9/30/21; rebuttal experts to be deposed by 11/1/21. By 7/21/21, the parties shall file a joint status report confirming the completion of fact discovery and reporting whether they are mutually interested in scheduling a settlement conference with the Court.
