April 13, 2020 Opinion or Order Filing 10 ORDER: Plaintiff has submitted a renewed application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis along with a letter asking the Court to "take full payment from [his account at] the Will County Adult Detention Facility" #8 #9 . Because Plaintiff's application to proceed in forma pauperis shows that he has the means to pay the filing fee in full in advance, the Court denies the application #8 . If Plaintiff wants to proceed to screening under 28 U.S.C. 1915A, he must pay the full statutory filing fee of $400.00. Plaintiff must arrange with jail officials for the fee to be paid from his account if that is what he wants to do. He may pay by check or money order made payable to Clerk, United States District Court. Failure to remit payment by May 20, 2020, will result in summary dismissal of this case. March 16, 2020 Opinion or Order Filing 5 ORDER: Plaintiff's request to proceed in forma pauperis #3 is denied without prejudice. If Plaintiff wants to proceed to screening under 28 U.S.C. 1915(e)(2), he must either (1) prepay the full statutory filing fee of $400.00; or (2) submit a renewed and complete application to proceed in forma pauperis that is signed by him, certified by an appropriate official, and accompanied by a copy of his trust fund account statement showing all transactions in his custodial account or accounts from September 2, 2019, to the time he responds to this order. If Plaintiff was incarcerated at more than one facility during that time, he must obtain account statements from each facility at which he was incarcerated. If Plaintiff renews his application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis, he must also submit a statement under oath explaining why he believes he should be allowed to proceed without prepayment of the filing fee. Failure to comply by April 6, 2020, will result in summary dismissal of this case. Plaintiff should be aware that he also must promptly submit a change-of-address notification if he is transferred to another facility or released. Failure to keep the Court informed of his address may lead to dismissal of this case for failure to comply with a Court order and for want of prosecution.
