June 19, 2020 Filing 16 MINUTE entry before the Honorable John F. Kness: Before the Court is Plaintiff's "Notice of Settlement" #15 , in which Plaintiff reports the parties have "reached a settlement." Plaintiff states that he "expects to complete the settlement within the next 30 days and [will] file a stipulation to dismiss his claims with prejudice." Plaintiff also requests that the Court "strike all pending dates." Plaintiff's request to strike pending dates is granted in part. Defendant's deadline to answer or otherwise plead by June 22, 2020 is stricken and will be reset later as necessary. In addition, and for the time being, the parties need not conduct the planning conference described in the Court's June 5, 2020 minute order #13 . For now, however, the Court will keep in place the telephonic initial status hearing set for July 20, 2020 (which is more than 30 days away). If the parties conclude their settlement and file a stipulation of dismissal before July 20, the Court will of course strike the hearing and terminate the case. Mailed notice (jk)
