ORDER signed by the Honorable Virginia M. Kendall on 8/3/2020. By order dated June 24, 2020 #5 , the Court directed Plaintiff to either submit a properly completed and certified application to proceed in forma pauperis, or pay the full statutory filing fee of $400, and advised him that failure to comply by July 15, 2020, would result in summary dismissal of this case As of today's date, Plaintiff has not addressed his fee status, and the Court has not heard from Plaintiff since entry of the June 24, 2020, order. Accordingly, this action is dismissed without prejudice pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 41(b). See Fed. Election Comm'n v. Al Salvi for Senate Comm., 205 F.3d 1015, 1018 (7th Cir. 2000) (court has authority both inherently and under Rule 41(b) to dismiss case as sanction for failure to prosecute and noncompliance with court order). Having brought this action, Plaintiff remains obligated to pay the filing fee. See 28 U.S.C. 1915(b)(1). The Court directs the Clerk to enter a final judgment of dismissal. ORDER: Plaintiff's application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis #3 is denied without prejudice. If Plaintiff wants to proceed with this lawsuit, he must either (1) submit a renewed application that is certified by an appropriate official and accompanied by a copy of Plaintiff's trust fund statement showing all transactions in his account for the six-month period immediately preceding his initiation of this action (12/18/19 through 6/18/20); or (2) pay the full statutory filing fee of $400.00. Failure to comply with this order by July 15, 2020, will result in summary dismissal of this case. Plaintiff also must promptly submit a change-of-address notification if he is transferred to another facility or released. Failure to keep the Court informed of his address may lead to dismissal of this action for failure to comply with a Court order and for want of prosecution.
