| Filing 17 MINUTE entry before the Honorable John Robert Blakey: The Court is in receipt of Plaintiffs' motion to strike Defendant's affirmative defenses and introduction to its answer #15 . Defendant shall file any response or objection to the motion on or before 9/3/20, and no reply shall be permitted absent prior leave of the court. The 8/27/20 notice of motion date is stricken, and the parties need not appear. Additionally, the Court is in receipt of the parties' amended joint status report, #13 . The Court adopts the schedule proposed by the parties, as follows: the deadline for supplementing Rule 26(a)(1) disclosures and for issuing final written discovery is set for 1/15/21; the deadline for any amendments is set for 2/1/21; and fact discovery shall close 3/1/21. The parties shall exchange expert disclosures by 3/29/21; disclose rebuttal experts by 4/26/21; and expert discovery shall be completed by 5/24/21. Additionally, any dispositive motions shall be filed on or before 6/14/21. The parties shall file any responses by 7/5/21, with replies due 7/12/21. This is a generous discovery schedule, and the parties are advised that, absent an extraordinary showing, the Court will not extend it. By 2/8/20, the parties shall file an updated joint status report confirming that they are on track to meet the discovery deadlines, and indicating whether any party will, in fact, file a motion for summary judgment. If the parties decide at any time that a settlement conference could be productive, they should call chambers to request one, and the Court will refer the case to the assigned Magistrate Judge for that purpose.
