ORDER Signed by the Honorable Robert W. Gettleman on 7/15/2020: Plaintiff's pro se complaint against St. James Hospital Olympia Fields Illinois is dismissed for lack of federal jurisdiction. According to plaintiff's motion for attorney representation, she is a citizen of Park Forest, Illinois, and the defendant is also a citizen of Illinois. Consequently, there is no diversity of citizenship as required by 28 USC 1332, and the court discerns no basis for federal question jurisdiction under 28 USC 1331. If plaintiff wishes to proceed with this negligence claim, she should do so in the state courts. All pending motions are denied as moot. Civil case terminated. Mailed notice (cn).
