October 6, 2020 Opinion or Order Filing 4 ORDER: Petitioner Antoine Younger, an inmate on mandatory supervised release in Chicago, Illinois, brings this pro se habeas corpus petition pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 2254, challenging his conviction for predatory criminal sexual assault of a child from the Circuit Court of Cook County. Although the Clerk has accepted this pro se petition for docketing pursuant to Rule 5(d)(4) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, Petitioner has neither paid the $5 filing fee nor filed a petition for leave to file in forma pauperis. If Petitioner wishes to proceed with this action, he must, by October 27, 2020, either pay the $5 filing fee or, in the alternative, file an in forma pauperis application. If Petitioner fails to comply with this order, the Court may dismiss this case. The Clerk is instructed to: (1) terminate Respondent Cook County; (2) add Jason Garnett, Chief of Parole, Illinois Department of Corrections, as Respondent; and, (3) send Petitioner a blank in forma pauperis application form. Petitioner shall file all future papers concerning this action with the Clerk of Court in care of the Prisoner Correspondent. The Court may disregard or return any paper sent directly to the Judge.
