Date Filed Document Text
December 11, 2020 Opinion or Order Filing 5 ORDER: Plaintiff's application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis #3 is denied. To proceed with this action, Plaintiff must prepay the full $400 statutory filing fee or make a substantial down payment of at least $100 along with a specific proposal for paying the balance within six months or less time. If he does not comply by January 15, 2021, this case will be summarily dismissed. Plaintiff's motion for attorney representation #4 is denied without prejudice as Plaintiff's representation that one lawyer did not respond to his inquiry and two others "are only interested in dental class action" (presumably Whitney v. Khan, Case No. 18 C 4475 (N.D. Ill.)) does not show that he has made a reasonable effort to locate his own counsel. Plaintiff must promptly update his address if he is released or transferred to another facility. If he fails to do so, this case will be subject to dismissal with no further warning. Signed by the Honorable Robert M. Dow, Jr on 12/11/2020. Mailed notice. (bg, )
