Filing 6 ORDER: Plaintiff's application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis #5 is denied. If Plaintiff wants to proceed with this lawsuit, he must both: (1) pay the $400 filing fee; and (2) show good cause in writing why this case should not be dismissed based on apparent false statements in his in forma pauperis application (in other words, he must provide a written explanation for his actions so the Court may consider whether to allow him to proceed). If Plaintiff does not comply by January 22, 2021, this case will be summarily dismissed. Signed by the Honorable Steven C. Seeger on 12/22/2020. Mailed notice. (jjr, ) |

If Plaintiff wants to proceed with this lawsuit, he must either (1) submit a renewed application that is certified by an appropriate official and accompanied by a copy of Plaintiff's trust fund statement showing all transactions in his account for the six-month period immediately preceding his initiation of this action; or (2) pay the full statutory filing fee of $400.00. Failure to comply with this Order by January 15, 2021, will result in summary dismissal of this case. Plaintiff also must promptly submit a change-of-address notification if he is transferred to another facility or released.
