March 11, 2021 Opinion or Order Filing 6 ORDER: By order dated February 3, 2021 #5 , the Court directed Plaintiff to submit a renewed and properly completed and certified application to proceed in forma pauperis, accompanied by a copy of Plaintiff's trust fund statement showing all transactions in his account for the six-month period immediately preceding his initiation of this action; or (2) pay the full statutory filing fee of $402.00, and advised him that failure to comply by February 24, 2021, would result in summary dismissal of this case As of today's date, Plaintiff has not addressed his fee status, and the Court has not heard from Plaintiff since entry of the February 3, 2021, order. Additionally, according to the Cook County Jail website, Plaintiff is no longer being held there, and the Illinois Department of Corrections website, Plaintiff has been released on parole. The Court has no updated address information for Plaintiff as he has not kept the Court apprised of his most recent address information. Accordingly, this action is dismissed without prejudice pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 41(b). See Fed. Election Comm'n v. Al Salvi for Senate Comm., 205 F.3d 1015, 1018 (7th Cir. 2000) (court has authority both inherently and under Rule 41(b) to dismiss case as sanction for failure to prosecute and noncompliance with court order). Having brought this action, Plaintiff remains obligated to pay the filing fee. See 28 U.S.C. 1915(b)(1). The Court directs the Clerk to enter a final judgment of dismissal. This case is closed.
