TEXT ORDER: The Court is in receipt of Petitioner's #1 28 U.S.C 2241 Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus. Respondent has filed a #4 Motion to Dismiss the #1 Petition due to the fact that Petitioner is being housed at Thomson Correctional Center, and therefore, Respondent contends this Court does not have jurisdiction to hear the matter. According to 28 U.S.C 2241(d), venue is the district court in which the prison is located. Petitioner filed a #7 response agreeing that the matter should be transferred.
