ORDER: Petitioner's motion to proceed in forma pauperis (IFP) #3 is denied without prejudice. Plaintiff is instructed to submit a completed IFP application that includes both a signature from an authorized officer at his facility and a copy of his prison trust fund account showing the account's transactions for the past six months. Alternatively, he may pay the $5.00 filing fee by check or money made payable to the Clerk, United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois. By May 21, 2021, Petitioner must satisfy the Court's $5.00 filing fee for his 28 U.S.C. 2254 petition by one of the two methods described above. His failure to comply will result in summary dismissal of this case without prejudice. See N.D. Ill. Local Rule 3.3(f). The Clerk of Court is directed to send Petitioner a blank application to proceed in forma pauperis (prisoner version) and a copy of this Order. The Clerk also is directed to mail a copy of this Order to the trust fund officer at the Western Illinois Correctional Center. The Court will conduct its initial review of the 2254 petition once the filing fee has been satisfied. Petitioner's motion for attorney representation #4 is denied without prejudice to renewal after Petitioner's filing-fee status is resolved. The Court cannot determine if such representation is warranted in this case pursuant to Rule 8(c) of the Rules Governing 2254 Cases until Respondent has responded to the habeas corpus petition.
