ORDER: By order dated May 2, 2021 #5 , the Court directed Plaintiff (1) to either pay the full $402.00 filing fee or submit an application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis and (2) submit an amended complaint. In response, Plaintiff submitted an amended complaint #6 and an informa pauperis application #7 in which he claims to have received $0.00 in income from any source in the preceding year (thus denying that he has received any deposits to his trust fund account in that time). The application lacks certified trust fund ledgers; the Court understands Plaintiff to indicate that prison officials did not provide him with the certified ledgers in time for his submission. The Court routinely grants inmates reasonable extensions of time to comply with Court orders. The Court cannot, however, grant an application that does not provide the necessary documentation. Because Plaintiffs application lacks the account information the Court requires to assess his indigence and an initial partial filing fee as directed by the Prison Litigation Reform Act, the application #7 is denied without prejudice as incomplete. Plaintiff again must address the filing fee by either paying the full $402.00 filing fee upfront or submitting an accurate and properly supported application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis that includes a trust fund certification from an authorized correctional official and the underlying trust fund statements covering April 4, 2020, through the date of compliance (from all facilities in which he was incarcerated in that time). Plaintiff's amended complaint (6] is taken under advisement for screening after Plaintiff complies with this order. If he does not comply by 06/21, 2021, the Court will summarily dismiss this case.
