Champaign County and Iroquois County are in the Central District of Illinois, giving the Central District a far greater interest in this case than this District, which has no connection whatsoever to the case. See Chicago, R.I. & P.R. Co. v. Igoe, 220 F.2d 299, 304 (7th Cir. 1955) ("[Section] 1404(a) [does not] provide that the convenience of counsel is a factor to be considered."). Accordingly, whether under 28 U.S.C. 1404(a) (if venue is proper in this District) or 28 U.S.C. 1406(a) (if venue is improper in this District), this case is transferred to the Central District of Illinois.
