Filing 7 ORDER: The Court received a letter from Plaintiff stating that he "never received a copy of a forma pauperis [sic] in the mail" and that mail from the Cook County Jail is taking "longer" #6 . The Court therefore grants Plaintiff additional time to comply with the September 23, 2021 order denying his application to proceed in forma pauperis without prejudice to renewal. If Plaintiff wants to proceed further, he must either (1) pay the full statutory filing fee of $402.00 or (2) submit a renewed application to proceed in forma pauperis that complies with the instructions in the September 23, 2021 order. Failure to fully comply by November 18, 2021, will result in summary dismissal of this case. Plaintiff should be aware that an authorized jail official must certify any renewed application to proceed in forma pauperis. Plaintiff may not certify the application himself, and it could be considered fraud for him to write an official's name on the line reserved for the official's signature. The Court directs the Clerk of Court to send Plaintiff a copy of this order along with a copy of the September 23, 2021 order #5 and a blank application to proceed in forma pauperis. Signed by the Honorable Robert W. Gettleman on 10/21/2021. Mailed notice (cn). |

Failure to fully comply with this order by October 21, 2021, will result in summary dismissal of this case. The Court defers consideration of Plaintiff's complaint and his motion for attorney representation until after his fee status has been resolved.
