MINUTE entry before the Honorable John Robert Blakey: Consistent with the parties' 11/19/21 status report #8 , Defendants shall answer or otherwise respond to the complaint by 12/10/21. The parties shall file an updated status report by 12/15/21 proposing reasonable case management dates. Additionally, although Plaintiff claims subject matter jurisdiction based upon diversity, Plaintiff and Defendant Muchowski both are citizens of Illinois #8 at 2, making jurisdiction under 28 U.S.C. 1332 unavailable. E.g., Pearson v. Int'l Ass'n of Heat & Frost Insultators Loc. 17, No. 18-CV-7068, 2019 WL 2422877, at *2 (N.D. Ill. June 10, 2019) (for diversity jurisdiction "there must be complete diversity of citizenship between all named plaintiffs and all named defendants"); Howell v. Tribune Entertainment Co., 106 F.3d 215, 217 (7th Cir. 1997) (complete diversity of citizenship means that "none of the parties on either side of the litigation may be a citizen of the state of which a party on the other side is a citizen").
