Gottschall: Plaintiff's pro se complaint (No. #1 ) identifies no defendants and states that it is filed for the purpose of declaring his national origin for the record. Plaintiff has not shown that a case or controversy exists within the meaning of Article III of the Constitution. This court therefore lacks subject matter jurisdiction. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 12(h)(3). Accordingly, the complaint (No. #1 ) is dismissed without prejudice. If he wishes, plaintiff may file an amended complaint on or before 11/19/2021 showing why a case or controversy exists. If plaintiff fails to file an amended complaint by 11/19/2021, judgment will be entered dismissing this case without prejudice for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. The court advises plaintiff that this court operates a help desk for people who represent themselves. Volunteer attorneys staff the help desk.
