Filing 7 ORDER: Plaintiff's application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis #4 is granted. The Court orders the trust fund officer at Plaintiff's place of incarceration to deduct $25.67 from Plaintiff's account for payment to the Clerk of Court as an initial partial payment of the filing fee and to continue making monthly deductions in accordance with this order. The Court directs the Clerk of Court to (1) send (electronically if possible) a copy of this order to the trust fund officer at Plaintiff's current place of incarceration and to the Court's Fiscal Department; (2) file Plaintiff's complaint #2 ; (3) issue summonses for service of the complaint on Defendants Dart, McDonald, and Cannon-Smith by the U.S. Marshal; (4) terminate all remaining defendants from this action; and (5) send Plaintiff three blank USM-285 (Marshals service) forms, filing instructions, and a copy of this order. The Court appoints the U.S. Marshal to serve Defendants. Plaintiff must complete and return a USM-285 form for service on each Defendant, and failure to do so may result in dismissal of any unserved Defendant or this case. In light of the potential complexity of this case, the Court grants Plaintiff's motion for attorney representation #5 . The Court requests that Bruce C. Scalambrino, Scalambrino & Arnoff, LLP, 105 West Madison Street, Suite 1600, Chicago IL 60602, bcs@sacounsel.com, represent Plaintiff in this case in accordance with counsel's trial bar obligations under N.D. Ill. Local Rules 83.11(h) and 83.37.1 Recruited counsel. is directed to file an appearance by February 8, 2022 and a status report regarding his investigation of this matter by February 22, 2022. Counsel should indicate whether he intends to proceed with the complaint on file or file an amended complaint. If counsel believes that taking either action would be inconsistent with his Rule 11 obligations, he should inform the Court. In addition to Plaintiff, the Clerk is directed to send a copy of this order to recruited counsel, the PACER Service Center, and the Systems Department.
