Filing 6 MINUTE entry before the Honorable John Robert Blakey: On 1/19/22, Plaintiff submitted a pro se complaint, along with an emergency motion for protective/restraining order #4 . Plaintiff neither paid the filing fee, nor sought leave to proceed in forma pauperis, and, ordinarily, the Court would give him time to do one or the other. But Plaintiff's pleadings in this case mirror the pleadings he filed in Case No. 20 C 6329, which Judge Valderrama dismissed and then reinstated on Plaintiff's motion. Had Plaintiff checked the box on the civil cover sheet indicating that this case was related to Judge Valderrama's case, this case would have been assigned to Judge Valderrama in the first instance. The Plaintiff has failed to comply with court orders and the rules of procedure, and this Court rejects Plaintiff's attempt to forum shop by re-filing his complaint here; if he wishes to proceed with this case, he must proceed before Judge Valderrama. This case is dismissed. Mailed notice (gel, ) |
