Filing 7 ORDER: Plaintiff has submitted a complaint alleging a generalized fear of physical harm and of failure to protect at the Cook County Jail. Based on Plaintiff's complaint, the Court finds that he has failed to establish that he is in imminent danger of physical harm. Because Plaintiff has "struck out" pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1915(g) and is also subject to the barring order entered by the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals on October 9, 2020, Taylor v. Miller, No. 20-2221 (7th Cir. Oct. 9, 2020); Taylor v. Marti, No. 20-2495 (7th Cir. Oct. v9, 2020); Taylor v. Nurse Anita, No. 20-2510 (7th Cir. Oct. 9, 2020); and Taylor v. Partt, No. 20-2591 (7th Cir. Oct. 9, 2020), his application to proceed in forma pauperis #3 is denied. This case is dismissed without prejudice to Plaintiff consolidating the claim brought here with the closely related claim raised in Taylor v. Doe, et al., Case No. 21 C 5994 (N.D. Ill.) (Kennelly, J.), or paying his outstanding filing fees as detailed in the Seventh Circuit's barring order. Plaintiff is encouraged to amend the complaint he submitted in Case No. 21 C 5994 to include the allegations made in the complaint in this case. Together, the claims made in both closely related complaints strengthen Plaintiff's allegations of an ongoing threat of imminent physical harm that may be enough for Plaintiff to survive in initial review (and meet the requirements of the Seventh Circuit barring order) of such an amended complaint in that case. Plaintiff's motions #4 #5 and #6 are denied as moot. The Clerk is directed to terminate this case. Civil case terminated. Signed by the Honorable Matthew F. Kennelly on 3/17/2022. Mailed notice.
