Filing 8 ENTERED JUDGMENT Mailed notice(gel, ) |
Filing 7 ORDER: Plaintiff Kennado Taylor has submitted complaints in two new cases, alleging that Defendants failed to protect him from harm in his confinement at the Cook County Jail. Mr. Taylor has "struck out" pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1915(g) and is subject to the barring order entered by the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals on October 9, 2020. Taylor v. Miller, et al., App. No. 20-2221 (7th Cir. Oct. 9, 2020); Taylor v. Martin, et al., App. No. 20-2495 (7th Cir. Oct. 9, 2020); Taylor v. Nurse Anita, et al., App. No. 20-2510 (7th Cir. Oct. 9, 2020); and Taylor v. Partt, et al., App. No. 20-2591 (7th Cir. Oct. 9, 2020). He can therefore proceed here without paying the filing fees only if he shows that he is in imminent danger of physical harm. The court concludes he has not made such a showing. The court notes, further, that many of the allegations in these cases overlap with those he made in an earlier complaint. See Taylor v. Doe, et al., Case No. 21 C 5994 (N.D. Ill.) (Kennelly, J.) These two new cases are dismissed without prejudice to Plaintiff's consolidating the claims brought here in an amended complaint in his earlier case, No. 21 C 5994. His motions for leave to proceed in forma pauperis and for attorney representation [Dkt. 3 and 4 in each case] are denied as moot. Finally, Plaintiff is warned that he has offered no factual basis for his suggestion that Judge Kennelly has conspired with Defendants or is otherwise responsible for harming him. To the extent Plaintiff believes Judge Kennelly's rulings are improper or harmful, he is advised that a suit challenging a judge's judicial acts is barred by the doctrine of judicial immunity. Any further attempt to sue Judge Kennelly is frivolous and will result in sanctions. The court has reviewed Plaintiff's correspondence [Dkt. No. 6 in 22 C 1608]; nothing in it alters the court's analysis here. These two civil cases are terminated. Signed by the Honorable Rebecca R. Pallmeyer on 4/22/2022.Mailed notice(mjc, ) |
