Fuentes: This matter coming before the magistrate judge on consent (doc. #22 ), the parties are directed to review the Court's Standing Order for Civil Cases Before Magistrate Judge Fuentes and Top Ten Ways to Defeat Settlement, both available on the Court's website. Before setting a briefing schedule on the two motions to dismiss, and before setting a discovery schedule, the Court would like to schedule a pre-settlement telephonic conference with all counsel to discuss interest in settlement and how settlement prospects might be pursued, either before the magistrate judge or a different magistrate judge. The conference is set for 1 p.m. on 8/22/22. Before the conference, the parties are directed to review the Court's Standing Order for Settlement Conferences, available on the website. Further, at the conference, counsel are requested to be prepared to discuss available settlement conference dates for clients and counsel in October and November 2022.
