Filing 11 Plf's Rule 26(a)(1) Disclosures by Richard Loveless (Lambert, Cannon) |
Filing 10 CERTIFICATE of Service by Joshua Arenson on behalf of Pilot Travel Centers LLC (Arenson, Joshua) |
Filing 9 MINUTE entry before the Honorable Gabriel A. Fuentes: This matter coming before the magistrate on reassignment by consent of the parties (doc. #8 ), and the Court having reviewed the parties' status report (doc. #7 ), the Court concurs with the parties' joint proposed discovery schedule and enters it as follows: Rule 26(a)(1) disclosures to be served by 9/6/22, written discovery is to be completed by 11/7/22, non-medical fact discovery and depositions are to be completed by 2/6/23, medical fact discovery and depositions are to be completed by 4/5/23. The parties have requested a month of additional fact discovery, to 5/5/23. This request will be granted. The Court considers the overall schedule an ample one for a matter of this level of complexity, and so the parties should plan to be held to this schedule. No retained expert discovery schedule is proposed, and at this point entry of such a schedule would be entertained on motion no later than 3/6/23. The parties are directed to review the Court's Standing Order for Civil Cases Before Magistrate Judge Fuentes and the Top Ten Ways to Defeat Settlement, both available on the Court's website. A joint written status report on the progress of discovery (including the completion of written discovery and the scheduling of depositions) and the status of settlement (including whether the parties wish to engage in a settlement conference with a magistrate judge) is due and to be filed at noon on 12/9/22. Mailed notice. (jj, ) |
