SUMMONS Issued as to Defendant McCalla Raymer Leibert (dxb, ) |
Filing 7 MINUTE entry before the Honorable Nancy L. Maldonado: The Court notes that, although the Plaintiffs appear to have submitted a USM 285 form for the U.S. Marshals Service to serve the Complaint, service by the U.S. Marshals is generally only authorized in cases where plaintiffs have received approval to proceed in forma pauperis. Plaintiffs here have filed no application to proceed in forma pauperis. Therefore, once summonses are issued, it is the Plaintiffs' responsibility to effect proper service of the summonses and the complaint on the defendants in a manner authorized by Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 4. The Court directs Plaintiffs' attention to the U.S. District Court Hibbler Memorial Pro Se Assistance Program, information about which can be found at https://www.ilnd.uscourts.gov/Pages.aspx?/2+UWDbtVzCDq3Lu8BusuQ== or by calling 312-435-5691.A Rule 16 initial status hearing is set for 1/10/23 at 10:00 a.m. by WebEx video conference. The parties are directed to file a joint Initial Status Report by 1/3/2022. The report should comply with the requirements for joint Initial Status Reports set forth in the Initial Status Report standing order, which can be found on the Court's website. The telephone number for the public is 650-479-3207; Access code: 23159109653. The parties will receive a Webex invitation by email. During the video hearing, the parties should turn off their cameras and mute their microphones until their case is called. All persons granted remote access to proceedings are reminded of the general prohibition against photographing, recording, and rebroadcasting of court proceedings.
