The Plaintiff's reply is due on 01/27/2023. Telephone status hearing set for 01/31/2023 at 12:15 p.m. Members of the public and media will be able to call-in to listen to this hearing. Counsel of record and the Probation Officer will receive an email before the start of the telephonic hearing with instructions to join the call. Persons granted remote access to proceedings are reminded of the general prohibition against photographing, recording, and rebroadcasting of court proceedings. Violation of these prohibitions may result in sanctions, including removal of court issued media credentials, restricted entry to future hearings, denial of entry to future hearings, or any other sanctions deemed necessary by the Court. (2.) On review of the Complaint, the Court orders a subject matter jurisdiction inquiry: the Plaintiff is an LLC and relies on diversity jurisdiction, but the Complaint does not list the Plaintiff's members and their citizenship. Wise v. Wachovia Securities, LLC, 450 F.3d 265, 267 (7th Cir. 2006). The Complaint only alleges the Plaintiff's state of incorporation and place of business. R. 1, Compl. PP 1, 4. By 01/11/2023, the Plaintiff shall file a Jurisdictional Statement (a) listing the Plaintiff's members and their jurisdiction or (b) explaining why jurisdiction is proper without that information.
